Valveindo (VITP) Service Engineers performed service for a total of 121 Valve Units at Pertamina Refinery Unit (RU) IV Cilacap.
In March 2023, our Service Engineer team performed an overhaul, service, and calibration of the Control Valve at Pertamina Refinery Unit (RU) IV Cilacap. This activity was carried out in 5 locations where our team successfully serviced 121 valve units and installed 48 new products from Neles and Carraro.
PT Pertamina Refinery Unit (RU) IV Cilacap, located in Central Java, is one of the largest oil refineries and has the most complete oil facilities. It also has the largest production capacity of 348,000 barrels/day, supplying 34% of the national fuel needs or 60% of the fuel needs on Java Island. In addition, this refinery is the only one that produces asphalt and base oil for infrastructure development in Indonesia.
Our team of certified Service Engineers has important tasks throughout this turnaround (TA) activity, including disassembly, inspection, repair, installation, calibration, and painting of Control Valves. All of these actions are taken to improve the reliability and operational performance of the refinery.
